Based on microlens array technology, Focuslight’s homogenizers and diffusers enable precise laser beam shaping in one or two dimensions, providing divergence control from a few mrads to over 160°, and generating ultra-uniform linear or rectangular illumination patterns with steep edges. By delivering accurate and homogeneous illumination across the target area, these solutions effectively reduce noise and improve signal-to-noise ratio, providing consistent, high-resolution lighting for CCD/CMOS imaging and surface inspection applications. This, in turn, enhances image acquisition speed, inspection accuracy, and overall production efficiency.
